On September 7th, 2009 our cousin Juan Angel Garcia left this planet that we call earth… Higher forces, one Saint, and perhaps many gods called upon his blessed soul.

Angel knew that he was being called home… and so he left us with his heart and went away peacefully, without ever looking back. Like his dad, he leaves us with a lifetime of work and wonderful memories.

John 14:16-18

Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you. The Spirit will show you what is true. The people of this world cannot accept the Spirit, because they don't see or know him. But you know the Spirit, who is with you and will keep on living in you. I won't leave you like orphans. I will come back to you.

John 14:16-18

  1. Hey Andy,
I just wanted to express my condolences to you and your family. I didn't know your primo very well but the couple times I talked to him he seem like a good guy. I wanted to share with you a couple things from the bible that may bring some comfort. Some words Jesus says about a person who has died. In John 11:11 Jesus says this to his apostles "Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep." 12 Therefore the disciples said to him: "Lord, if he has gone to rest, he will get well." 13 Jesus had spoken, however, about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14 At that time, therefore, Jesus said to them outspokenly: "Lazarus has died . . . "

Ecclesiastes 9:5 says "For the living are conscious that they will die: but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the rememberance of them has been forgotten."

Jesus also gives us hope of seeing the loved ones who have gone at John 5:28,29 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurraction of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement."

One final thought about God caring for those who are broken in heart. Psalms 34:18 "Jehovah is near to those who are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."

  2. Thanks Big Rob... those verses I shall keep going over and over, along with my other biblical readings. It's so true because many of us hope of seeing our primo again through our "vile things" while others, currently, are "crushed."
